It's Official: I need your help.

Although I'm a Minnesota native, my family and I spent several years living in Texas. As a result, this really intense, super hardcore, southern side of me sometimes surfaces out of nowhere. It usually only happens during the football season but it's definitly somewhere deep inside me at all times. For example, right now! I want new cowboy boots. I need new cowboy boots. I have to have new cowboy boots.

So far these amazing boots from Shepler's are number one in
the race and number one in my heart. Who's with me?!

Y'all. I'm serious about this.
Where is the best place to buy them?!

It's Official: Friday is here!

I'm so excited for the weekend to be here! Since it is technically also a holiday weekend (how is it is already almost July?!) I'm extra excited for some sunshine, food on the grill and plenty of stars and stripes. With this positive mood I also really wanted to feature something up-lifting today to help kick off this lovely weekend. I could think of nothing other than Kate Spade and their "Live Colorfully" motto. In particular, the bangles and the small idiom on the inside of each, warm my heart.

It's Official: Say hello to my little friend.

I look back at the posts I did this month while I was in summer school and I just can't help but laugh. I'm seriously a walking zombie and the posts are a great reflection of that. Thankfully I only have one more day left of class and I can get back to a normal summer sleeping schedule!! In the mean time, I'll be chugging magical Melatonin - my best kept secret.

The pill is 100% natural, regulates you sleep-wake cycle and causes drowsiness. It's pure gold and if you haven't taken it, this is the only drug I will every reccommend. You can get it over the counter or at any CVS/Drug Store locations.

Have you ever taken Melatonin?

It's Official: The name is just as important as the color.

I'm super OCD about my nails and I'm super obsessed with astrology. The combination of these addictions basically means I treat my nail polish color like a horoscope. I won't even consider a color if I don't feel some sort of personal attachment and/or attraction to the name. I also find painting my nails to be oddly theraputic. There is just something about trying to make it as perfect as possible. Not to mention being immobile for a good 20 minutes is also relaxing. When doing in-home nails, I prefer Essie nail polish. It goes on so much smoother and the color quality surpasses all other competitors.

Most nail salons in my area haven't hoped on the Essie train yet so my most recent color is
OPI Charged Up Cherry. As I've been on a huge cherry kick lately, it seemed only appropriate!

What nail polish brands/colors do you suggest?

*I'm also guest blogging at Preppy Love today! Check it out on Kasey's lovely blog here!*

It's Official: I'm black and blue (and orange).

Whenever I find a color combination that works, I stick to it. This summer I'm really been into black, blue and orange. I don't necessarily have a ton of these three colors but I love the way they look together nonetheless. The great thing about sticking to a pallet also means that you never have to risk not matching and your outfit will always manage to have some semblance of order.

Do you like this color combination?

It's Official: I'm Vegas bound.

My university's football team is scheduled to play their first game of the season against UNLV so naturally my friends and I are not passing on an opportunity to visit Sin City. I bought my first official item "for the trip" yesterday and am now in full blown Vegas mode. I found a BCBG clutch on super sale while out shopping with my mom over the weekend. The tassel is playful and the print exciting!

I've only been to Vegas once but I was quite young. Consequently, this will be my first time visiting as a twenty-one year old and with friends. We will be there for five days so if you have you ever been to Vegas, I would love to hear some suggestions! Places to eat, things to do, where to shop... anything!

BCBG deserves an award for their stellar sales.
Have you checked out their most recent sale?

It's Official: Utility Canvas.

Is it too early to be thinking about back to school? For me, never! The only thing more exciting than shopping for new school supplies is going on a hunt for the perfect backpack/tote. This year I think I plan to invest is something from Utility Canvas. The study and durable bags are perfect for strolling around campus. Plus, they are practically just asking to be monogramed!

Obsessed with how plain they are.
How do you feel about Utility Canvas bags?

It's Official: I'll flip out.

Although I pretty much always have my toes done, I hate wearing flip flops. They irritate that section between my big toe and second tow and I'm just never really that comfortable in them. Plus, I think if you simply toss on a pair of flats instead, the outfit always looks much more put together. Nonetheless, if I'm not in my Jack Rogers, I will succumb to wearing Havaianas around the house and down to the pool/beach!

Are you a flip-flop girl?

It's Official: I found the steal of a lifetime.

I'm all about sharing a good deal with y'all and this is one I simply cannot keep to myself. I just bought a lovely pair of J.Crew chino shorts for... wait for it... $20!!! I almost left a tip because I was so shocked. I'm still shocked. They were on sale plus an additional 30% off and an extra 15% by using my student discount. Which, if you didn't already know, J.Crew honors 15% off all merchandise (including sale items!) if you show a student ID. So, everybody run out to your nearest store and snatch up a pair for yourself!!

Have you found any good deals lately?

It's Official: Red Dress Boutique.

I think one of the best things about being young is that we can still capitalize on the opportunity to wear dresses and skirts that are young, lively and carefree with the risk of looking silly. Although there is a time and place for everything, endless grad parties and summer reunions are currently in full force making Red Dress Boutique the ideal place to start looking for new outfits. I also love their Fourth Of July picks (see here!).

Love is all!
Do you ever shop Red Dress Boutique?

It's Official: I like Furbish a lot.

I think I found my new favorite online site - and that is saying a lotFurbish, to me, seems like the perfect site to visit when your stuck shopping for that girlfriend "who has everything" (common, we all have that friend). Everything is super fresh and funky and fun and a wide array of price ranges. I'm being completely honest when I say if you don't want that Starfish Cuff there is a 99.7% chance we wouldn't get along.

Have you ever heard of Furbish?
Would you purchase anything?

It's Official: Love is in the air.

I've been seeing gold, cursive, love rings cycle around Pinterest and Tumblr like wildfire lately. Although the pictures are becoming spam like, I am falling more and more in love with them each day. Of course, as with anything, the price ranges vary considerably so I've been on the search for the four best choices with four very different monetary values.

1. Tobi In Love Ring: $12.00

So precious, don't you agree?!

It's Official: You've got to Chance it.

At this point in the summer my main goal is feeling as relaxed as possible, all the time.  Having summer classes Monday-Friday for the first time has also sparked my interest in finding wearable, comfortable, everyday pieces... Cue Chance clothing where I want everything. The simple stripes are unbelievably perfect.

I really think if I had my own clothing company, it would be just like Chance.
Would you invest in these simple pieces?

It's Official: Change is good.

I personally don't own a lot of cases for my iPhone but I do know I'm not alone when I say I have a minor obsession with discovering new ones. I've been using the same case (this pink 'bumper') for awhile and really think it's time for a change. I adore the various collections from PreppyPrincess! Not to mention, at only $25, these cases run much less expensive than most personalized goods!

Would you consider using these cases??
What kind of case do you use?

It's Official: Bagatelles and Co.

I actually stopped a women in line at the coffee shop this morning to ask her where she got her clutch. I was almost beside myself when she told me it was from an Etsy store as if I need another one to love!) called Bagatelles and Co. It was the perfect little size and just a little unique from everything else on campus - a lovely sight to see!

You can also add little messages to the inside!
What a great gift!

It's Official: On time is late.

I'm kind of a stickler for tardiness. I fully understand that thing do happen but making others constantly wait on you is so inconsiderate. Set your clocks fast, wear a watch, set an alarm, set six alarms! Figure out a way to get there on time without being tardy. I've always lived by the rule "early is on time, on time is late" and if you follow along with my OOTD's you can tell I'm not kidding - my favorite watch is frequently by my side!

I also love these Swell Caroline watches!
The nautical navy looks fabulous in a stack!

Do you wear a watch?

It's Official: Boden is magical.

I would be lying if I told you I've ordered something from Boden but that doesn't mean I can't love looking at their website, right? I like how fresh and natural everything is. The colors just pop and the bright patterns make it so easy to keep your look simple. I would also love to try and squeeze into some of the Mini Boden boys button-downs!

Have you ever ordered from Boden?
How did you like it?
