I recently got together with a couple friends and had the most girly night of my life. We planned it because someone had watched a YouTube tutorial for this crazy nail art and we all really wanted to try it. It was a scene straight out of a movie--five girls sitting, drinking fruity drinks, gossiping about boys and painting our nails. The only thing missing was our green face masks!
I'm still blown away by how this works and I definitely don't get it but it's so cool!! It hardly calls for any supplies and you most likely already own everything. It can be very time consuming though so I don't suggest doing it alone. We worked off of this video so check it out for a live version!
Fill a cup with cold water.
Add one drop of nail polish to the center of the water--it will expand on its own.
Repeat by continuing to add drops to the center of first drop, alternating colors.
*Don't be slow! The nail polish will begin to dry if you don't go fast enough!*
Using the stick, swipe through the circle to create the pattern of your choice...
Dip one finger into the cup and watch the polish magically stick onto your nail!
It. Is. Incredible.
Tape around the cuticle of your nail so the polish doesn't get all over your skin.
If it does, dip the q-tip in the polish remover and erase your mistakes.
Like I said, it may be much easier to follow this video for a live action version.
