Something happened on my My Pinterest the other day that caused this photograph to go viral. Suddenly I had 222 repins, 36 likes and a ton of emails! The picture features a quote from a Mumford and Sons song (one of my favorites!) set inside a frame on a homemade chalkboard.
A chalkboard isn't exactly a revolutionary idea but I think people take to this example because it's such a great quote to live by. Plus, having it above your bed looks fantastic. You could change the quote daily, weekly or monthly. Or, it might even be fun to use the space as calendar!
You can buy chalkboard paint at just about any local hardware store.
I've heard this Rust Oleum kind works wonderfully.

ReplyDeleteI love Mumford and Sons! I saw them two years ago and they were too perfect! I love that quote on the chalk board, I have always wanted to paint a chalkboard stripe wrapping around my room for inspirational bits like those lyrics.
