It's Official: Coachella's live webcast is insomnias new bestie.

This weekend the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California will host the 12th edition of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The festival has an amazing live webcast on YouTube where you can listen to the bands, see the art, and the fawn over the attendees in their relaxed bohemian/indie lifestyle. It has essentially turned into a modern day Woodstock as it is commonly flooded by celebrities. Each year it works its way higher and higher on my bucket list. It's unbelievable how great they all sound live. The 2011 headlining performers include Kings of Leon, Mumford and Son, Kanye West and The Strokes.
While the music is mainly why I'm attracted, I obviously also find the fashion fun to follow. There is always enough crochet, lace, fringe, translucent sunglasses and wide brimmed hats to go around. I thought Alessandra looked particularly perfect in her pretty ivory dress, Harley looked flawless at Mulberry's pool party, Lea Michele's outfit was super fun and I need that American flag shirt Kate Bosworth wore for the fourth of July. I'm infatuated with gold bicep bracelets like the ones Vanessa Hudgends wore on Friday and felt my boy Robert Downey Jr. was looking sexy as well. I stayed up until an inappropriate hour tonight watching Kings of Leon, The Black Keys and fawning over Ms. Lauryn Hill's jewerly on my computer. I can't wait for Mumford and sons and Kanye West later in the weekend. The good news is I also managed to whip together my version of Coachella's finest.
